Free Giveaway: Art Supplies

It seems that watercolor pencils have recently piqued the interest of several SoulPerSuiters so I scoured the art store for a beginner set to give away. This pack contains pencils in red, blue, green and black, and comes with a round tipped brush and a 4X6 " spiral bound pad of watercolor paper. It's the perfect size to travel to the park or stay home in the backyard on these nice spring days to experiment with paint.

Wondering what watercolor pencils can do? How they work? Here are a couple of in-house reports:

In this giveaway I'm also including a fresh deck of vintage-printed playing cards for your SoulPerSuit experience.

*This giveaway is open to everyone, even if you can't join us for Cappuccino with Colossians.

To enter, leave a comment on this post and tell me whether you're a traveler or a home-body. Will you be watercoloring in the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, or right here in River City?

I'll post the winner's name on Friday, April 11th.

Water color pencils - just what I've always wanted! While I'd love to see the world, this season is mostly about being home.

I'm a homebody, big time. Don't mind traveling if I need to and even enjoy it a lot sometimes, but can't wait to get back home.

My heart draws shades of azure on crystal canvas, sea foam green, lemon blossoms tickling my senses. And so the dream fades into the reality of burnt sienna toast and wailing, peaches and cream, my little crimson balls of fury. Until, they snuggle in close for a good story and sparkling fairy dust dances on their lashes. My heart is finally full.

I am a traveler. Dreaming of places to see and experience and all the colors that go with the experience.

No doubt about it, I'm one to stay close to home when possible. I enjoy seeing all the beautiful colors springing forth this season.

Sanctuary. Haven. Home. Sunlight tipped out on my sofa for me to curl up in. Song of wind chimes, boiling kettle, bird trills, leaf rustle, gurgling dishwasher. Windows open, curtains floating, muffins rising, cinnamon wafting. Crooked towers of books, drawers of pens, waiting canvases, soaking brushes. Quiet nursery, folded quilts, talcum scents. Half-done homework, polly pocket confetti, hairbrush city, half eaten apples. My haven. My home. And the place I choose to love over the wonderful mind stretch of travel.

I love to get out and see new things - with my family and camera! So much room for the imagination from the air! or by car or whatever. I'm always amazed at the magnitude of God's grace when I see wide open spaces...and am also amazed at how huge our country is.
But I LOVE to be home amongst my flowers and friends and art supplies too.
